The first maintenance cycle should prove that the design is stable under real load. The goal is not to “check the box” on a visit. The goal is to confirm that the cooling path, controls, and water quality are all tracking the same operating assumptions.
- Verify CDU alarms, setpoints, and pump performance.
- Inspect strainers, filters, valves, and leak-detection points.
- Review trending for supply temperature, return temperature, pressure, and flow.
- Check make-up water, conductivity, and water-treatment status where applicable.
If any of those points drift early, the system is telling you that the cadence, the controls, or the commissioning assumptions need attention. A structured inspection loop is better than a loose walkthrough because it produces repeatable evidence for the operations team.
